Helping Aunt Ann fight breast cancer

As many of you know, last December I was devastated to receive the news that my precious Aunt Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She has been such an incredible influence in my life, along with a source of encouragement and laughter.  She has always been there for me and my sister Ashley.  To hear that she now had cancer was devastating to us, but you know us Scribers... we don't let anything take us down!  Ashley and I decided that we wanted to do something to help Aunt Ann in her fight against breast cancer. But what could we do since taking chemo treatments for her was out of the question????  We decided to join with the Susan G. Komen foundation in their fight against breast cancer! We have both accepted the challenge to run the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K Race in honor of my Aunt Ann.  The 5K will be on September 11th in Colorado's beautiful (and hilly) Garden of the Gods.  And here's where you come in...  we need your help!  Not a runner, you say?  Don't live in Colorado?  Hey, neither do I, but I'm doing it anyway!

You can help by becoming a member of our team!  It's super easy... All you need to do is click on the link below and register for the Race for the Cure© and "Join a Team."  Our team name is "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow, CURE forever!"  (Catchy, don't you think?)  And just to be clear, you don't have to actually run the 5K to be part of the team.  And you don't have to be in Colorado.  Heck, you don't even have to get out of bed!  We would really appreciate your support in joining our team and ending the battle against breast cancer.

Thanks for your support!  And Aunt Ann thanks you, too.  ;)
Much love,
Erin
