Hang the Banner

This past weekend I made a "Thankful" Banner to go on our mantle.  If you want to try it, here's what you'll need to complete it:

Scrapbook Paper - I found a large book of Fall paper on sale on Michael's
Chipboard letters or wood letters that you can trace
Craft glue or rubber cement
Glitter
Scissors
Hole Punch
Ribbon

Start by tracing the letters onto plain scrapbook paper.  Cut out the letters.

Then put the glue or rubber cement on top of the letters and sprinkle with glitter.  Allow to dry.

While the letters are drying with glitter, select your decorative scrapbook paper.  Cut sections that are large enough to place the letters on.

After the glitter has had enough time to dry, glue the letters to the decorative scrapbook paper.

Punch two holes in the top of each piece then thread ribbon through.  Hang on mantle!
