Ready to Race!

I am headed to Colorado Springs tomorrow.  The 5k race is on Sunday and I'm super excited about it.  We reached our team fundraising goal of $2,000.  Actually we exceeded it and have raised $2,505 for the Susan G. Komen organization.  I'm sure Big Sis has everything ready for us up in Colorado; menu and schedule of events included.  :)  I have been following my running/training schedule for the most part.  If anything, I have been running more than it says.  I'm a little anxious about how hilly the Garden of the Gods is, as well as the altitude.  But in any case, I remember what I'm running for and know that the important thing is that we raised money for Breast Cancer Awareness and research.  Sooo... Go us!  

Yesterday afternoon I picked up our team t-shirts and they came out really cute.  The artwork for the shirts was done by the talented Mama Rach (my stepmom), and she did a great job.  Here are the munchkins modeling their tshirts...
